PAX Museum Flight Simulators

The Flight Simulators are currently closed while being upgraded and will open again in the late spring. Please keep an eye on this page for more information.

For the latest update on the simulator upgrade, head over to our Facebook page.

The Flight Simulators consist of 2 F-14 Tomcat cockpits and 1 A-7 Corsair II cockpit operated by a commercial software that enables integrated operation from take off to landing. Just like the real airplane the scene is projected on a wall with appropriate Heads up Display (HUD) symbology. Flight operations can include air-to- air combat, air to ground strike missions against enemy threats, carrier catapults and landings, plus a host of additional capabilities. The operating software is capable of replicating 22 different fighter, attack, cargo, early warning, domestic and some foreign aircraft.

The Flight Simulators are normally operational on Saturdays and at other times for special occasions are by request. The cost is $10 /30 min or $20/hour.

Volunteering In the Flight Simulators
A team of Museum volunteers are an important part of the Flight Simulators operation. Without their help the simulators would not be able to be operational year round. If you have an interest to join our team several training sessions are held throughout the year. Please email volunteer Daniel Dickey at ddickey5615@verizon.net for more information.
