On June 25, 2013, the St. Mary's County Board of County Commissioners approved an added financial package to proceed with bids to continue construction on the new Patuxent River Naval Air Museum building. The next milestone will be final ratification of a bone-fide contract once final bids are validated by the County and the State of Maryland.
