Launching Ideas ... Recovering History

The Patuxent River Naval Air Museum is pleased to announce our first ever Meet the Authors! event.  We have invited a variety of authors to tell their stories at the Museum on July 20, 1300-1700.  Come on out and expand your library!
All authors will have books to sell and will be happy to autograph them for you.  They will be on-site and eager to discuss their books and careers.  There will be several presentations made throughout the afternoon as well.
We have an intriguing mix of participating authors, including:
  • Erik Hildebrandt and his world famous aviation photography books

  • Julia Maki with her children’s books

  • Hank Caruso and his world famous Aerocatures

  • Dr. Herb Gilliland a Naval Academy Professor presenting his Award Winning Voyage to a Thousand Cares,  Admiral Dan Gallery: The Life and Wit of a Navy Original, and his most recent book USS Constellation on the Dismal Coast

  • Ms. Jan Ritter with her true-life spy novel, Breaking Tecumseh’s Curse.

Plan on a relaxing and uplifting afternoon at the museum.  Refreshments, including beer and wine, will be available for purchase during the event.
