Add Your Heading Text Recruiting college student to support the Simulators

The Patuxent River Naval Air
Museum is in need of a college student to assist in the operation of the
Museum’s flight simulators for the duration of the summer school break. The Pax museum owns and operates two original
F-14 Tomcat pilot trainers plus a satellite station for museum customers to
have fun and excitement flying both in the same air space. The museum’s Flight Simulator Team provides
3-4 trained high school students and an adult to oversee the operation to
instruct the customers on how to fly the airplane of choice and also to operate
the simulator system. During the summer
the flight simulators are operational mid-week Tuesday through Friday (12 noon
to 5:00 PM); and on the weekend Saturday and Sunday. The museum is looking for a person who would
be the adult available during the mid-week (Tuesday-Friday) to oversee and
support the student instructors.
Training will be provided but any knowledge of airplanes or flight
simulators would be an advantage. The
applicant should have an interest in aviation and willing to work with middle –
high school students. Benefits provided
would include free admission to the museum, 10% discount in the Gift Shop and
free access to the simulators to better understand its operation. For additional information you may contact Daniel Dickey at:
