The Navy’s Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels, have flown the FA-18B Hornet since 1986.
The #7 aircraft is a two-seat model, it offers VIPs and local media the opportunity to experience a Blue Angels performance first-hand.
It can also be flown as a substitute for any of the other team aircraft should a maintenance issue arise.
This aircraft was flown by the US Naval Test Pilot School for 17 years, where it helped train Test Pilots Under Instructions TPUIs.
