TEST AND EVALUATION HALL
The Test & Evaluation Hall, opened in 2016 after an extensive design, fundraising, and construction campaign. It is one of the most iconic and recognizable structures both in St. Mary’s County and Southern Maryland.
The Test & Evaluation Hall takes you through the history of Naval Aviation, from its early days and the Curtiss A-1 Triad to today and beyond and the Lockheed Martin X-35C Joint Strike Fighter Concept Demonstration aircraft. Included is also the history of the early days of NAS Pax River, Naval Aviation in Space, and Women in Aviation.
