CJ Jaynes was a senior upon arrival to NAS Patuxent River and was well respected within the community. She expresses gratitude to the mentors who, regardless of gender, took her under their wings and helped her find acceptance and success in the military. Jaynes often works with youth groups and advises them to follow their hearts and pursue careers in the military and STEM.
